Teachers’ Day Celebration and Farewell Programme at St. Francis of Assisi School, Mamit. St. Francis of Assisi School, Mamit joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude. The programme was filled with cultural performances, songs, dances, and speeches by students expressing their appreciation and love for their teachers. The celebration highlighted the invaluable role of teachers in shaping the lives of students and guiding them with dedication and care.

On this special occasion, the school also organized a farewell programme to honor and bid goodbye to Fr. Raymond, Fr. Samson, and Fr. Joseph for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the school and parish community. Their commitment, guidance, and tireless efforts in the field of education and pastoral ministry were deeply acknowledged and appreciated.

The management, staff, students, and parents expressed their gratitude and offered best wishes to the departing fathers as they move on to their new missions. The day concluded with warm memories, blessings, and a spirit of thanksgiving.

79th Independence Day Celebration

79th Independence Day Celebration at St. Francis of Assisi School, Mamit

St. Francis of Assisi School, Mamit, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The entire school campus was filled with the spirit of unity, freedom, and pride for our nation.

The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The students presented a march-past showcasing discipline and respect for the nation. Various cultural programmes such as patriotic songs, dances, and speeches were performed by the students, highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the importance of preserving our hard-earned independence.

The Chief Guest of the day, ZD.Lalremrua, along with the Principal and staff, encouraged the students to uphold the values of peace, unity, and responsibility as true citizens of India. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and a renewed sense of love for our country.

The 79th Independence Day celebration at St. Francis of Assisi School was indeed a memorable event, instilling patriotism and national pride in the hearts of the young generation.
